General Meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month from 11:30AM-1:00PM. Our next meeting will be on Thursday, November 10 at Arte Americas, 1630 Van Ness.
We encourage you to attend our 2016 General Meetings to network, partner and collaborate with other community members who share VCC's passion. These monthly meetings will focus on valuable information for the cultural arts sector in the valley each month. The location of the meeting will be announced monthly. Everyone is welcome.
We are pleased to announce that our State of the Arts Luncheon held on October 21 was a smashing success!!! Our main speaker, Dr. Don Simmons, Professor of Humanics at Fresno State was so inspirational. He explained how powerful the arts are to our community. I am truly motivated to continue to promote the arts in the valley. The Tony Award winning musical, Hamilton was so interesting. We learned about the impact Hamilton had in history as well as why he so inspired Lin-Manuel Miranda.
Joaquin Arambula attended the luncheon because he wants to support the arts. Please come to our November 10 General Meeting at Arte Americas from noon to 1PM. Assemblymember Arambula's Deputy Director, Maria Lemus, will be there to hear about our needs.
